Transportation Services
Las Vegas City School's Department of Transportation Services is comprised of Pupil Transportation (terminal operations, routing, dispatch, safety/training, and fleet maintenance).
Mission
The mission of Transportation Services is "to provide a valued service to our customers as efficiently, effectively, and safely as possible and at least cost."
Weather and Delays
During bad weather, the Transportation Services Department will provide the required transportation. However, services may have to be modified to insure students safety and welfare. Traffic conditions may require students to spend additional time en-route to special activities or programs.
School closure or a delayed schedule will be posted on the front page of the Las Vegas City Schools and announced on local radio and television stations.
